Eliana Grace

Eliana grace, a young girl with a tender heart and not many worldly possessions, is feeding her animals when Michael The Arch Angel appears in a heavenly light to her and her dog BINGO who are finding refuge in a humble barn. As the barn doors burst open, Bingo escapes into the jaws of a cold winter night with a thick vail of snow covering the landscape. Eliana follows in search of her only friend and beloved dog.
Along the journey, Eliana who is lead by Bingo, comes upon Mary and Joseph who are just outside of town as they are looking for shelter from the storm on this Christmas Eve.
Seeing that Mary is with child and that the small family is in need, Eliana insists that she stay in the barn with her and her animals.
With the love and courage of an angel, Elina leads them back through the snow for warmth and safety. Soon after they arrive, Mary goes into labor and baby Jesus is born.
The Three Wise Men arrive with gifts of wealth. Eliana has nothing to give this beautiful baby, but her only blanket that has kept her warm. Mary is moved to tears and expresses her deepest gratitude as only a mother would for this precious gift from this young child’s heart. This is known as the first Christmas blanket as it swaddled Baby Jesus from the cold on that Christmas so long ago.
My Christmas Blanket is a story about giving what little you have or giving what you have to help others who don’t have as much. It is a timeless story for the ages of love and selflessness and the true meaning of Christmas and the birth of Jesus.
